Cosmonaut Magazine is a publication dedicated to developing a new democratic culture of debate and discussion for the socialist movement. Unabashedly Marxist and committed to the revolutionary overthrow of the capitalist class, the socialization of the means of production, and the construction of a communist society, Cosmonaut Magazine exists to facilitate comradely, but energetic collective debate over the strategic direction of contemporary socialism, as well as provide a critical history of our past (https://cosmonautmag.com/category/podcast). Our platform is a space in which socialists can both engage critically with the history of socialism and develop their vision, strategy, and overall critique of capitalist society. In the spirit of 'scientific socialism,' Cosmonaut Magazine aims to be a platform where socialists can elucidate history, critique the prevailing ideological 'common sense' of our time, and through trenchant discussion conceive a programmatic communist politics that can lead our movement into the future.
